No TV for SMU?

Postby ALEX LIFESON » Thu Sep 07, 2017 7:40 pm

In the day and age of every fartknocker school in the most remote areas being televised, you would think the school in the fifth largest Marketplace in America, could get a better deal than ESPN3. Stephen F Austin, North Texas State and Arkansas State, are only televised on your local computer. At the very least, you would think a local station, would televise the game this Saturday, especially since North Texas state has 40,000 students and tens of thousands of alumni in the area.

If you search the ESPN app it shows up I believe it's always been ESPN3

There's always radio, KTCK 1310 AM/96.7 FM. Put that in your gratitude journal.

I listen to the ticket while I'm at the games. By the way, I haven't missed a home game in over 30 years, so put that in your pipe and smoke that.

I have Chromecast. The SFA replay would play on my desktop and phone, but for some reason, wouldn't transfer to my tv.

There are a lot of schools in big markets stuck with internet broadcasts because those big markets aren't interested in said schools. All the more reason we need to have a real OOC schedule.

Some providers won't allow you to cast their programs from their app as an example x infinity doesn't allow it. But it will play on mobile devices desktops computers anything but the big screen where you want it

However you can download the ESPN app or HGTV app separately use your credentials from the same provider to login and you can cast through those ..

Yeah Local Access Cable-seems like that AAC TV contract is not as strong as in past years
