The Biggest Game of the Year

no not TCU-but Arkansas St next week

We better drop the pity and disappointment or this game will cause a 2nd loss. And btw there will be no QB change. Hicks was disappointing in the 2nd half but there are few players or positions on the team that weren't disappointing as well as our "Dominant Defense" as our resident defensive guru called them. We put up 36 which is 12 times what TCU is giving up this year. About 463 yards. We just don't have the talent to beat TCU right now

I have been telling people the same thing all week, doesn't matter if we lost by 2 points or 52 points to TCU, the Arkansas state game will be enormous. If we lose that game, it's perceived as a disaster at a 500 record four games into the season.

48.4% completion record ??? Sadly, he was no better against the first two nothing teams. No evasive ability out of the pocket, and can't run any faster than Delta Gamma pledge? GMAB

They need to make a QB change NOW, or the season is OVER!!!

It ain't happening-Morris showed his hand by not substituting in 2nd Half. He was speaking loud and clear that his best QB is Hicks. BTW Hicks did much better than Arkansas QB Austin Allen did last week. Allen finished 9 of 23 for 138 yards passing in Fayetteville. TCU gave up about 50 yards passing in Week 1. They're pretty good

Again I am sure HCCM would have loved to have Gillins for this game as a change-up, but he was out hurt. Hopefully he'll play against Arky State next week....and that will be a huge game going into conference, they are good and a big difference in 3-1 vs. 2-2. Gonna make sure I have 8 butts in my seats, see that you all do the same.

It's family weekend, so there will be more people than there would usually be for an SMU-Arkansas St game.

I'm just guessing as an x coach but Hicks is playing because he is the best passer (in Chad's opinion) and SMU's strongest offensive strength is the receivers. I don't know anything anyone else doesn't know, but if was the coach and I had this receiver crew I would be looking for the best passer.

He can't throw outside the hash past the line of scrimmage. Throwing down the seams he is very good. His deep ball is better than the other QBs. That is why he is still playing. He is considered the best QB to be able to get Sutton the ball.

That said, if you can't get Sutton the ball, there is no reason to keep playing him.
