That's the average distance on the Mustangs' 10 touchdown passes through three games.

The Mustangs have thrown 10 touchdown passes through three games — 8 have been 35 yards or longer, and 5 have covered at least 58.

6th in the Country in yards per completion at 18.3 yards per completion

Another positive stat -only 17th in sacks allowed which is a continuation of improvement we saw after Davis got hurt last year One thing I noticed watching replay is that a bunch of Hicks wild throws happened when a TCU defender flashed in his face-not necessarily ready to get sacked but at the moment the TCU defender appeared to beat his blocker. He maybe bailing out when he's feeling heat. Last year he stood pretty tall in the pocket even when he felt heat and made some big plays before getting rocked

This is the type of BS logic and reason that isn't appreciated in these here parts! Get out of here with this...knowledge, and such!

In all seriousness, Hicks is having accuracy issues at times but still seems to have improved from last season. The offensive output is improved, but still lacks consistency on the common plays (underneath passing and shorter routes). Defense is playing better than last year, but needs to work on consistency. Overall, going into the last non-conference week in a much better place than any time in the past several seasons.
