Whining about bowl games is not very becoming. Glad to be in one.

I don't see it on McMurphy's stream but someone on AAC Fan Forum said that Liberty Bowl has agreed to take AAC loser. I wonder if Memphis wins whether that could juggle the lineup a bit to get us out of Frisco. You'd have 2 teams taking non-AAC Bowls with SMU seemingly the 5th option.

USF
Navy
Houston
SMU
(Temple)

Military
Birmingham
Hawaii
St. Pertersburg
(Frisco)
(Boca Raton)
(Cure)

I don't really care where we go as much as who we play. I just want us to win.

We have a bowl in our home town that I've gone to a few times. Even though it's a minor bowl it still draws a good crowd. It's all about the marketing--I hope SMU is proactive about selling tickets.

If it's Frisco or Independence Bowl I will definitely go. I'm not sure I can afford going to many other bowls right now.

I think it is OFFICIAL...SMU has now been "projected" with every bowl game that the AAC has an affiliation with, and even some games with no conference connection. I think we can all agree now...that nobody knows Jack S__t, and everybody will just have to wait until next week to find out where the Mustangs will be playing!!! lol

McMurphy: "I’m hearing SMU is a lock for the Frisco Bowl. The other side is up in the air; it could be a team from Conference USA, the Mid-American, or the Mountain West. I’ll go with the [LA Tech] Bulldogs, who got their sixth win Saturday."

Sounds like a done deal.

So it looks like AAC is ceding spot in St. Petersburg (Gasperilla) Bowl--think the players deserve a trip
