the frustrating thing is that to improve our status we need to play and beat a P5 team. Us playing a team from a lower conference in G5 does little for us and if we lose does wonders for the winning team.

Yeah, I hope we get to play a P5 team in a bowl and blow them up. Have we played a P5 team in a recent bowl?

Yes and yes. The Big East absolutely counts.

I agree with Stallion. Nobody cares if we play and beat Eastern Kentucky State A&M, even if they happen to be top 25. We beat a Virginia or Mississippi State and people care.

Give me any P5 team in any bowl game. Brought 4 to Birmingham and 12 to Armed Forces bowl. Would get at least that many for Frisco, Boca Raton, St. Pete, etc. Only one that is a deal breaker is Hawaii.....so I am hoping against that one.
