Not to mention we did not beat ECU in a CUSA championship game either.

I am sure you are thinking of when we beat them to clinch a berth in the CUSA championship game.

Latest Sagarin rankings and score:

SMU moved up to 70 (from 72) - 68.66, hooray! Most likely due to our past opponents doing well this weekend. Probably would have gone higher had Houston won.

Statistically, this game should be a win. NTCC - #102 and Arkie St. - #89 are both ranked higher than Cincy #109.

I think there is something wrong with site. They must go through a cleaning phase after they post the scores. Currently it's showing conference/division rankings:

1 ACC-ATLANTIC (A) = 80.15 80.03 7 ( 1)
2 PAC-12(NORTH) (A) = 78.99 75.76 6 ( 5)
3 BIG TEN-EAST (A) = 78.76 78.52 7 ( 2)
4 BIG 12 (A) = 78.35 74.83 10 ( 7)
5 ACC-COASTAL (A) = 76.41 76.26 7 ( 4)
6 SEC-WEST (A) = 76.25 77.66 7 ( 3)
7 PAC-12(SOUTH) (A) = 75.39 75.49 6 ( 6)
8 BIG TEN-WEST (A) = 72.49 71.81 7 ( 8)
9 AAC WEST (A) = 71.30 70.72 6 ( 9)
10 SEC-EAST (A) = 69.13 70.60 7 ( 10)

Sagarin has us about 9 points better than Cincy-but that would on a neutral field-need to subtract about 3-4 points for home field advantage

"To make predictions for upcoming games, simply compare the RATINGS of
the teams in question and allow an ADDITIONAL 3 points for the home
team. Thus, for example, a HOME team with a rating of 92 would be
favored by 5 points over a VISITING team having a rating of 90.
Or a VISITING team with a rating of 89 would be favored by 7 points
over a HOME team having a rating of 79."
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

Fair enough, hopefully with their record, they won’t have many fans there!
