So 4 Top 10 Teams Lose on the Road to Mediocre Teams

Postby Stallion » Sun Oct 15, 2017 11:09 am

I wonder what the odds of that happening-about a Billion-to-1? Houston losing to WTF-ulsa? and No. 24 Navy losing to Memphis on the Road are other examples

great week to play OFF

good reminder that SMU better be ready to play in Cincinnati this week. Win this one and we control our bowl destiny with home game against Tulsa and Tulane. Won't be a walkover

Cincy was doing ok against USF until they got an untimed play at the end of the first half due to penalty. Tried a long pass, got intercepted and returned for TD. Changed the whole game.

No. 24 Texas Tech lost on the Road to a pretty evenly matched West Virginia

Tulane got its bubble burst on the road too losing 23-10 to Fla. Int.

On the road kids don't have their music playlist at all times so they fall off.

Road wins are not easy to come by. Have to give TCU credit for handling K-State so easily. We have to find a way to beat Cincy or have to win 6 of 7 home games and appears UCF is one of the better teams in AAC this year

They have talent, but that just shows you that their confidence is way off. Reminds me a bit of UConn, except they have better athletes (Cincy). And on the road, we better come out like we're playing TCU the next 2 weeks (and play through the finish line!). Cincy, Tulsa, and Tulane are no gimmes.

Sounds like it had the same impact as not defending a Hail Mary that results in a score at the half. With the opponent getting the ball to start the second half.
