If you want to win games you must have a strong defense. we can beat weak teams with offense but we can't beat good teams.

I think most of us agree that our defense is quite offensive.

In the world of high powered offense, even the best defense gets scored on. Would you have preferred that we lose to TCU and UCF 10-0 or 17-0?

People want excitement and action which means scoring.

We gave up over 600 yards of offense. No amount of rationalization can cover that up.

which was pretty much average for the No. 1 Scoring Offense in the Country, 31 points was well below their scoring average of 51. They came in averaging 8 yards per play.

I have never seen a game won by yards of offense. Pretty much decided by final score in my experience.

UCF had 3 turnovers and still had over 600 yards....amazing.

Why is it so amazing that they were able to gain the yards even though they turned the ball over 3 times? I would imagine the turnovers barely moved the needle on their entire game time of possession.

Really, it was nice to see the defense come out ready.
Better players will always help but being ready is number one key.
