UCF fans

Good showing, and full of energy.

But, had a moment with one [deleted] when Wyatt was down in the fourth.

Everyone was standing for the player down, then I hear, "oh, it's only an SMU player". I was a little unkind and had to remove myself from the situation before I threw out the bad words.

Other than that and the fact that the UCF fans on my row got up at least 5 times each to leave the row, they weren't bad.

If those are your only complaints about opposing fans, I think you'll be alright.

Walk down their tailgating area with your SMU colors on and you'll find out UCF fans make Texas Tech look like Saints

I can attest. I’ve only been physically attacked once in all of my football travels, and it was at the CUSA champ game at UCF. Did nothing but wear an SMU shirt and walk across campus. Mustangsabu and I had to be shielded from the projectiles by some kinder fans who rescued us.

Easily the most uncomfortable US sports fan experience I’ve ever had. And I was just at Cowboys Stadium in Chiefs gear. I look forward to getting back to the days when we can hammer the Knights...

I had that experience as well and just played along, raising my arms and encouraging the boos to get louder. At least nothing was thrown at us
