Sucks we lost, but that was inspired football second half. I was impressed with their resilience and coaching adjustments.

The entire team in the first half cost us the win.

We continuously line up in wide splits on the DL and get run up the middle. No reason to line up wide on that last drive. They no longer had a QB threat and we let the FB beat us.

Just imagine if we made defensive adjustments during the game instead of just at halftime.

Used to have the criticism about Craddock also, and he moved to the booth this season and the O has been much better and more consistent. Malone needs to get his butt up into the booth and actually make adjustments during the game.

WE JUST GAVE UP A 3 MINUTE DRIVE FOR A TD TO A THIRD STRING QB AND AN OPTION OFFENSE WITH NO TIMEOUTS. That is inexcusable. Period.

WE JUST LOST AGAIN TO NAVY WITHOUT ALLOWING A COMPLETED PASS. Wow. We played a lot of the second half with one safety back and then changed the defense back to two back for that last drive. FORCE THEM TO PASS THE BALL ON THAT LAST DRIVE. Worst case, give up a long TD with plenty of time to score.

Gutty performance by Hicks. He wasn't whining in the first half, he was pissed at himself and everyone else. I think he got hurt on the roughing call but gutted it out and lead the team back.

Van Malone continues to be trash. Weird.

We start 5 sophmores and one Freshman on D and they happen to be primarily in the secondary. And it shows when they try to tackle.

Still, Malone should have done more to protect them from having to make open field tackles against a full steam fullback all night long!

two 5-9 CBs played a bunch (Lancaster, Sutton)
we start a 5-10 Safety(Onu)
a 5-9 Safety was playing in 2nd half(McQueen)
a 6-0, 200 pound LB was out there in crunch time (Hailey)
6-0 LBs one that is terribly slow (Rhone)
5-11 LB (D. Robinson) looks like he started today

Its just a fact that SMU defense doesn't match up well against a tough running game . We must address our lack of size on the backend

one thing SMU is addressing in coming class is greater size across the board

Malone has given up over 1100 yards on defense the past 2 games. Absolutely ridiculous. Navy is not going to pass at all during the game, give me a effin break. This kid's first start ever and has 4 TDs? really??

Our 1st half game plan was a joke, what is up with the gimmicks? We have 3 bad@$$ rb's and wr's --
why do that and why does it take a huge deficit to start looking like a team we are capable of being? Great 3rd quarter.

Memphis will probably be more of the same.... big yardage given up all day.

yeah that's not shocking-Memphis has a much better team than SMU. Top 20 team. We're beat up after this game-its going to be tough to stay in that game

We did what we did best at: play 2 quarters of football and choke away another winnable game. I fully expect to lose to Memphis so at best we will get 7-5. Great job guys, great job...

Yeah they deserve a mediocre bowl. Choked away 2 games... Classic SMU...

I feel so sorry that you felt this was a Championship team-it must be difficult for you to deal with reality

I'm 10-0 on the year-I suggest paying attention to the multitudes who know more about College Football than you.
