We averaged about 13,000 in the Cotton Bowl for non conference games when I was there. At least that is what was announced. If you really want to talk about bad attendance, do not talk butts in the seats, talk about how many empty seats there are. 65,000 empty is a lot of nothing.

So, thats four seats empty that come just from pony fans.
Reality is being able tp plan. Priority is smu money. Reality is we need fans as without them we have no program.

Its a bigger issue than can be solved here. Talk to ted gangi.
Man has plans that can work.

Obviously PonyFans posters are not the problem. We need to guilt all our classmates into attending more games. I was in Dallas for homecoming two weeks ago and admonished anyone who lived in the Dallas area who does not regularly attend the games. I live in Atlanta and will make four games this year. I try to drum up support wherever I can. The only ones who can change this apathy is us.

If SMU is planning on doing a color out it would be cool if they announced it today before people pack to travel to Dallas for the holiday.

It might affect which SMU stuff they pack for the game.

An Italian doctor has announced he will attempt a head transplant in China this year (already did it on a cadaver). No, his last name is not Polo.

Interesting applications for this new medical procedure for our attendance. We can invite the patient over to Ford to sit in the student section.

Also, maybe a butt transplant will be next and we can give free tickets to transplantees to sit in the end zone.

Just trying to think out of the box. Go ponies.

I agree with the point about talking to Ted!

You may be on to something....until we get better crowds we could fill Ford with crash dummies.

The crash test dummies would make more noise, then most of the fans there now.

They'd drink a hell of a lot less though. It does however look like the guy in the front at the back has a blunt

That's b/c the average age of the people who attend our games is like 70. I swear there are entire sections that look like getaway day for a retirement home.

Be respectful of your elders you'll blink and be one. I've met some 70 year olds that climb mountains drink tequila and can still kick your [deleted].

I laugh at the ones complaining about those that carried this program for the last 40
years, while at the same time not realizing they are aging every day and soon will be screaming “get off my lawn”.

I'd bet my house that there are less than three 70+ year olds that can kick my deleted.
