Biggest game of the year on Saturday. SMU can end the losing slide on senior day... and finish with a winning record at 7-5. I watched some of the Tulane victory against Houston. Overall, I think SMU is more talented and we have them at home. Tulane plays with a lot of energy and confidence...and with bowl eligibility on the line, they will be pumped up out of their skulls. The Tulane qb Jonathan Banks, is a 6'3 220lb duel threat, which is usually bad news for us. Hilliard is still their top rb, with 1049 rushing. Some will see this game as the pillow fight of the week, but, it's big for both teams. Deja vu 2009, we were 6-5 playing Tulane in the season finale at Ford Stadium...Ponies won and then beat Nevada in the Hawaii Bowl to finish 8-5.

It all depends on the D.
SMU will score but can we stop anyone?

Play a 5-2 scheme and plug them holes.

A SMU win puts SMU finishing 3rd in the West. A loss puts SMU finishing 5th out of 6 in the West!! The Tulane QB will probably give the D more trouble than any QB they have faced so far. But SMU has more weapons overall. Got to stay positive!!

I think we win this game, but it will be a nail-biter in a virtually empty stadium..

If we win this and then somehow win our bowl game...

Hey an 8 win season isn't bad....and the bowl win might come late enough that any school Chad would consider bolting for would have already hired their new coach.

with signing date on December 20-schools are going to have to move fast. Things will really start popping next Sunday

Recruiting contact period reopens November 26--so schools will start finding out real soon just how committed their commits are

even in a smallish crowd game playing at home matters. We beat these guys by 10.
