Outside of Ala, LSU, Georgia & FL, is there a better job in the SEC?
I put them in the same tier as Arky, Aggies & Auburn.
Good for CM if he can land that gig.
They're an easy target because of the mediocrity and coaching search shenanigans. This happens whenever a big time school has an extended down period (see Bama pre-Saban for example).

No real hate. I think it's a good job for Chad if he can get it as well. Surprised at the inability for Tennessee to land a coach and having so many public rejections, in one way or another.

So why has there been such little comment about the Mississippi St choice of Penn St. Offensive Coordinator Joe Moorhead. Everybody seemed to say-Oh well- and move on to other jobs-I think because nobody had heard of him before.
No SEC experience\ No head Coach experience Only 2 years at Penn St and before that eastern schools like UCONN, Fordham. Pitt, Georgetown, Akron
I think its one of the most questionable out-of-footprint hires ever-maybe worse than Bielema. How did this guy get this job. I'd rather be Tennessee or Arkansas still looking.

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

i thought JoeMo was head coach at Fordham for four years and had a very good track record. That said, it looks like a top-tier AAC hire.

I think it is because of 2 things: 1) Miss State doesn't have insane boosters like most of the SEC. Most of the booster money in the state supports Ole Miss. 2) From what I understand, everyone seems to think highly of the Mississippi State AD. He was the MSU baseball coach and associate AD (at same time) before becoming AD.

Some consider himone of the top coordinators in college ball. He ahs a good reputation right now as a OC. His name has been mentioned as a possible candidate for Miss St. and other positions. Not Florida or A$M but others.

Foxsports is reporting that super-agent Jimmy Sexton offered his trio of Lane Kiffin as HC, Tee Martin as OC, and Kevin Steele as DC to the Vawls and they turned him down. Tennessee fans are losing their minds.
God, I hope that's true.
