So who coaches us in the Bowl Game now....does Chad at least stay 2 more weeks to Coach like Frost is doing for UCF or do we get VM and Craddock as a 2 headed monster and end up causing us to lose a winnable game.

Wouldn’t be shocked if Keith Gunn is the only one left to coach with Van Malone.

Sorry even after a day, I'm still baffled at $100k payout. Honestly, lets just invite LA Tech to Ford, we can play there, sell concessions and seats, and invite whatever media that wants to broadcast it and I bet we come out higher than $100k. What a stupid bowl. ESPN really needs to put a limit on bowls. A simple measure: pay $500k or more or no bowl.

Bowls have come to their logical conclusion.

But, the extra practices are priceless, unfortunately we’re between a rock and a hard place with no coach.

Extra practices are good, but with that low low low payout, I wish sponsors would default to the team's stadium with the stronger ranking or better record. That seems way more logical and less logistics cost. The teams could still keep the extra practices.

Didn't realize Heart of Dallas pays out 800k+ per until I went to double check the Frisco payout. Bahamas and Frisco along with Arizona are definitely outliers in bowl payouts

Woah woah. It was never made public how bad the frisco bowl payout was. If i knew it was $100k, I would advocate for Hawaii and write the AAC to stop with that bowl. The payout probably doesn't cover an athletic staff member's salary + benefits. Fortunately, it's my understanding that all the payouts go to AAC and then distributes out to the teams evenly. If that's the case, then it's just a matter of AAC getting better bowls to keep the distribution higher each year.

The Bowl payments go to the AAC and the AAC pays travel expenses and distributes remaining revenue through conference revenue system. Nobody makes any money off of most of these bowl games and in fact they are substantial revenue drains except for the traditional bowls/playoffs

most important game this decade for sure, this sets the tone for the next season post Chad Morris. are we going to play poor because our coach left us for another school, or are we going to play pissed and full of energy indicating that it doesn't matter who's the coach.. very interesting game, will have to see how the players are acting.

It could hurt our offensive preparation if we have no coaching staff. The defense will be the same since it appears they have not had any preparation all year.
