This is all a ruse for more money from SMU for one last year, and Arky gets Venables instead? SMU is positioned to improve next year, so that 7-5 story could become 10 wins, and maybe a better opportunity for CM to stay in Texas. Obviously the longest of all shots and CM would be crazy to pass up an SEC P5 job.
