It took UCF approximately 3 days to hire a coach.

Believe UCF had a bit more notice than we did. Plus would you call their hire a "home run"? May turn out that way, but...

I think our a.d. had plenty of advance warning that c.m. was trying to leave and should have been more proactive.

Or Todd Orlando given he’s a pretty high paid coordinator from Texas. Traylor or Dykes won’t get mention.

Damn. Just a slap in the face and showing that SMU can’t even offer coordinators away. It spells real trouble for SMU and it’s future. We really need to find more investors for football and that should be one of Turner and Hart’s objectives in the short run. We really need to get the base limit offer to $3mil to still be top dog of “G5”.
