But but but I thought SMU was the only program with attendance issues??

Will be interesting to watch their fan support towards Chad and his posse of [deleted] if they go through a long losing period...

When CM starts winning, it will be bedlam in the stadium. Most rabid fans in the country. Arkansans live Razorback football.

I would suggest not scheduling Coastal Carolina on the SEC's annual November Sun Belt challenge week

Attendance: 61,476

It’s hard to compete with large public schools in attendnance. This is an apples and oranges comparison to begin with.

Sounds like that might be a completely different kind of problem.

Back in the day after Broyles had some success in Fayetteville the diehard GT fans could not understand why he wouldn't come home and join Heisman, Alexander, and Dodd among the Yellowjacket immortals.

Broyles was probably already on record about the recruiting and support and enthusiasm advantages of being the only big school in a state. Arkansas State was almost beneath consideration then.

Someone else mentioned Tulane regretting the decision to leave the SEC. GT also, most like, although feelings ran high at the time.
