These players need to wise up, pretty fast too. Someone on Reddit said that Hicks went straight to Hart to tell him the players don't support this.

Can't blame them for feeling like they weren't heard. Traylor made more sense as an interim coach into next year than Dykes. I feel for them. Not initially, but given our options appear to be dwindling, it seem like he was the better choice of the two. He knows the offense, knows the players, could use the money saved on his new base to hire great coordinators to support him and we would be in a slightly better position.

What about his resume makes Traylor more deserving than Dykes?

Well Traylor doesn't have much on his resume but could keep things moving along till we find the right hire unless he proves himself. Dykes has an abysmal recruiting record in the G5 and a mediocre at best record. I get people are finding excuses for him but I don't see much difference other players being happy for Traylor.

What are the chances that Coach Traylor is on Sonny's staff? Same with Ramon?

This is incredibly weak. He could "keep things moving along till..." lol.

We're going to allow the players that Chad "Full of sh*t" Morris recruited dictate what we do with our program?

Just what sports needs: players picking their own coach. Color me "get off my lawn, and turn your music down."

We already lost our 2 best recruits to Chad Morris and Arkansas. A third committed to Syracuse yesterday. The rest are decent recruits but not world beaters so why hold onto a coach just to try to salvage this year's recruiting class? Recruiting would suffer in 2 cycles rather than 1.

None, he'll have a Co-OC position with Chad probably.

Not shocking, but not a good look either. If Sonny were smart, he'd offer Traylor the OC and associate HC job.

Totally agree. They should not have any voice. After all they are here to play football and shut up, not voice an opinion.

Seems like a bad way to start off with your new coach? Maybe not publicly tweet negative things about him?
