well its on twitter so it must be true
report says he actually will be calling plays. He ran the offense to perfection at Tulsa and then played QB in NFL. Has been serving as Graduate Assistant. Good luck if true but he's been in this type of spotlight before so it should be fun

It will be Kinne and Ben Hicks sort of playing off each other. Kinne technically calling the plays, with Hicks granted considerable latitude to run or check out of specific plays based on what he sees, what he things can be successful, etc.

Lincoln Riley's first game calling plays was the Alamo Bowl after Leach parted ways. That ultimately panned out pretty well for Riley.

Given that Ben Hicks has been the starting quarterback for two years, maybe he can call his own plays - you know, like they used to back in the 60's and 70's. It ain't rocket science.
