In possibly the most under the radar bowl games of the season, we have 10-2 Troy, who beat #17 LSU at LSU, playing 9-3 UNT.

Halftime
Troy 22
UNT 20

Vic Koenning Troy Defensive Coordinator-No. 26 in Total Defense

I wonder if his path has crossed with Dykes. I always thought he was the brother of Les Koenning who has about 20 years of coaching in Texas but apparently they are cousins

#USF announces it has sold 1,059 of its 10,000 allotted @Birmingham_Bowl tickets (school sold 1,648 last year). More than 4,500 of this year's tix have been donated back to bowl (for charity groups). Another 300 distributed to veterans.

Ouch! Seems to me we well attended at that Bowl Game when we played Pitt. At least I had a good time, stayed in the same hotel with the players/families.

Always get a drop-off when going to the same bowl in back-to-back seasons. Would USF have sent the same 1,100 fans to Frisco? SMU would have definitely sent more than 1,100 to Birmingham!

Wow USF fans are a joke. Starting to appreciate our few loud fans at Ford.

that really could come back to bite them in the [deleted]. UCF has far surpassed their accomplishments both on the field and in the stands. I don't think USF has ever won a Championship-not even a Division Championship

Meanwhile, don't sleep on Florida Atlantic. Amazing how quickly things can turn for a school located in a fertile recruiting territory when they hire a dynamic coach and everyone, including the President of the University, goes "all in" to improve the football program:
