They are getting an outstanding reception especially in Texas and are the new big factor in Texas recruiting from now on. Sit back and watch especially in 2019

Who wants to bet against Stallion when it comes to recruiting.

IMO, SMU made the right decision in selecting chad over herman.

In time, I suspect UT will come to the same conclusion.

Yes, with Morris at Arkansas and Fisher at A&M, Herman may be in trouble (relatively speaking, though they got a good class so far). Probably will hurt Tech and Baylor more. PattersonTCU seems to be/have a good evaluater. And we will most likely be about the same, 3*s and some 2*s.

The early signing period has really made it costly for a school like Arkansas to fire their coach. Also, made it costly for schools like SMU to have their coach cherry picked. By the time these schools have their coach in place, most of the good players have already signed.

If they would move the early signing period to August, that would give the G5 schools a fighting chance for some late developers.

Arkansas is 10th out 14 in Average Per recruit with the smallest class in the SEC

Arkansas is 38th in the Country in Average per Recruit

Arkansas is a finalist for the No. 1 DE in the Country Dorian Gerald who announces tommorrow afternoon. They have already matched my prediction, made when they were sitting at No. 90, of a Top 35-40 Class in average per recruit and could potentially beat it tommorow if they get a commitment.

then you had Bielema's last two classes which were both in the 20s. 2016 may even have been in the teens if also adjusted for average per

Arkansas is going to stay pretty much where they are - mid to low tier SEC. There is nothing special about that school or his staff by SEC standards - and he will lose just about every battle with the big boys in his conference. Chad will bank some dough though - so don't blame him for jumping. A better goodbye would have been nice. We paid him well and took a chance on a position coach. And there was an awful lot of "lock arms" talk for there to be a note on the pillow and a bunch of dust in the rear view mirror.

except for the fact that anyone following recruiting since he was hired at Arkansas knows he won direct recruiting battles going down to final weeks with Alabama (multiple), LSU, Ole Miss (multiple), Miss St. (multiple), Tennessee, Auburn, Florida, Texas, Texas A&M, OU, Nebraska, Colorado, North Carolina, TCU, Notre Dame, Florida St., Wisconsin, Oregon among many other P5 teams. But its easier just to pretend you know what you are talking about

Andrew Parker-among highest late riser in country-Texas(visit), Ole miss, A&M, TCU (Auburn, Nebraska, Notre Dame all involved late couldn't get visits)
Myles Mason flipped a Miss St. commit -8 total P5 offers including BAMA, Auburn, Fla St and Tenn
Billy Ferrell-BAMA, Wisconsin, Louisville -4 total P5 offers
Laddarius Bishop- flipped a Miss St commitment, Florida -8 total P5 offers
Joseph Foucha-LSU and Ole Miss visits -20 total P5 offers including BAMA, Auburn, Fla St, OU, Oregon, A&M etc
Courte Alexander - beat Texas after December visit
Nick Fulwider flipped North Carolina commit-21 P5 offers
Rakeem Boyd-1 year A&M throwback, No. 3 JUCO RB in Country-Colorado visit
Ryan Winkel-Miss St. visit-Tennesse, Nebraska, Virginia and Northwestern-6 P5 offers
Michael Woods flipped from SMU-8 P5 offers
John Stephen Jones-Texas High School Player of the Year-Tech SMU Visits
Silas Robinson flipped from SMU

Now tell me more about those SMU recruits who were McNesse St, throwbacks, Incarnate Word throwbacks, Missouri St. decommits and those JUCOs who couldn't even beg for a Division FBS scholarship even last year? Not to mention the 2 Superstars that didn't have another committable offer but signed with SMU when everybody backed off. I wonder why? That's not really recruiting-that's 52 Card Pick-Up

Last year Arkansas had the 22nd "most talented" roster in college football according to 247, the problem is there are about 8-9 SEC teams ahead of them
