Okay then it sounds like he’s a good hire who we might help his redemption given the Baylor background. My last curious thought is: will students respond negatively to his hire? Even if he had nothing to do with it, the close association to Briles might mess things up.

Surely you were not suggesting that students would turn go to the games in numbers and throw shoes or something.

I would guess that less than 1% of the student body could produce even a single name of an assistant coach on the staff. Much less know anything about their backgrounds.

If the students rebelled over a offensive line coach hire, it would be a day to rejoice, because we would be on our way to more than 8,000 fans.

Fans here seemed pretty excited about Clements.

Tate Wallis sounds more like SMU (reminds me of Willis Tate). LOL I'm not sure but what the best option is to get a few current Texas high school coaches that are successful at the area of need and know other Texas coaches very well.

Looks like information is coming in that RGT is the culprit. Again, never been anti-RGT. I just had a feeling the admin wouldn't allow an Art Briles stained guy in here.
