I'm sure he's fine. Swam in the cesspool but didn't get any stink on him. Baylor would never cover up anything so they can be trusted vetting him. The players he saw probably everyday, in season and out, never said or did anything in his presence that would have caused him to take action. As likely as that scenario is the more likely explanation is that he is blind or deaf or immoral or amoral or dumb as a box of rocks or some combination of the above. I guess, all-in-all, he is what we are looking for in a strength coach. Oh, and the bonus demonstration of his maturity reacting to drunken toady fan can only enhance his value as a leader of young men. I now understand why people think he is a great hire.

Your head met your @ss a long time ago. You might want to take it out.

If there are allegations made about him in the book, it would be nice to know what those are.

For all we know, the "mentions" are literally nothing (ex: "the Baylor Strength Coach, Kazadi, was not alleged to have participated in the coverup"). For example, Jesus and Moses are mentioned in the Koran, but it didn't make them Muslims.

So why don't you go read the book and enlighten everyone, since you're such a fanboy.

1) I am not a fanboy.

2) I am not going to buy and read a book for the sole reason of finding allegations that may or may not have be made against him. If those allegations exist, the original poster should provide a summary. Simply noting that the guy was mentioned in the book doesn't support not hiring the guy.

3) I think Baylor should get the DP for what happened. I think all of the coaches involved in the cover ups should be barred from coaching kids EVER. At this point, I am comfortable throwing Briles 1.0, Briles 2.0, and Jeff Lebby (Briles' son-in-law) into that bucket. Phil Bennett probably belongs in that bucket. But, I am not willing to say that every single person at Baylor should face a lifetime ban from coaching.

Since you know everything that happened in that dump, who gets banned:
1) the S&C staff?
2) the athletic trainers?
3) the coaches' administrative assistants?
4) the graduate assistants?
5) the Golf Coach? Tennis? Swimming?
6) what about housekeeping in the athletic dorm?

When you have actual evidence that our knew S&C coach may have committed wrongdoing let me know. If it is credible, I will grab my pitchfork.

It's pretty simple, and common sense. The S&C coaches are closer to these kids, and spends more time with them, than even the coaches do.

Choose to believe what you want.

I hate Baylor and what happened is shameful. But what makes people think we would run off and hire a dude with no vetting? The school's tolerance for any kind of stuff like that is so low.

Or he wanted to keep his job to feed his family. That young coach at Penn State that blew the whistle what school is he coaching at now hm. Coaches and schools just like companies black ball whistleblowers.
