Except that Dome didn't exist when Syracuse was relevant in college football

They played there from '87 to '01 when in those 15 seasons they were in the Top 25 13 of those seasons, finished the season in the Top 25 9 times (2 top 10), and only lost 2 of 12 bowl games during that span. Guess it depends on your definition of relevance but there are a lot of folks (including Pony Fans) that would like that run.

I also interpreted the topic about the stadium, not the relevance of the teams that performed there.

The Rose Bowl may be iconic but it is terrible for actually watching a football game unless you sit close in. When I go to a game, I like to be able to see it without binoculars.

You are missing out if you haven’t visited the Historic Yale Bowl.

If you look at it carefully, it might seem like a bigger (if antique) version of Ford.

Kyle Field. Been used since 1097 in some form and offically a stadium in 1927. Great atmosphere.

I thought it was just a shyte pile of a stadium with filled with aggies who couldn't sit down because they had a load in their pants. Didn't realize it had been in use since The Crusades. That IS a lot of history.

Kyle is one where I think the atmosphere/tradition is pretty cool (if a bit heavy handed...), but I'm not a big fan of the stadium itself.

I'm looking forward to "The Big House" in September.

Looks like quite a few fans went to the concession stand during the Mustang Band halftime show. Always liked the mobile home press box. Classy.
