Quarterback Ben Hicks met the media, and linebacker Richard Moore and offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee visited exclusively with PonyFans.com after Saturday's practice.

• Hicks address a number of topics: the differences in the new offense, his relationship with new offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee, his impressions of the new strength and conditioning program and how he's approaching Life after Courtland Sutton and Trey Quinn.

• Moore talked about his transfer to SMU, what it was like to watch last season as a transfer and how he fits into the Mustangs' defense.

• Lashlee talked about his offensive system, the steps he and the offensive staff must talk to establish the foundation with the players, how experience factors in to talent evaluation and what he wants from each position group.

PonyFans.com ... is really the premier place for Mustang talk on the Web.

Glad to hear the new defense isn't completely foreign to Moore. He needs to be good.

Richard Moore will end up one of the Best LBs to ever play here before his time is over. Of course he started at aTm as a freshman at 208 LBS. and was really quick then. Now he says he is at 290 LBS., and I hope he can move like he used to at the bigger weight. Going to be Fun watching him play.

It's incredible much more mature Hicks sounds. Hope that continues, considering all the young guys who will have to play.

I was equally impressed with the Richard Moore interview. Can't wait for the NTU game to see if we can continue the Bowl scenario, with better results this time. Thank you to June for three impressive bowl wins, thank you Chad for pulling us out of the swamp, and best wishes to Sonny, may you get into the sunshine.

Also, it's much easier to watch and hear Rhett, than the other two interviews. Great move, getting Rhett away from the chaos going on, as people head towards the exit gate.
