When was the spring game? Based on the IPC post, I assume it's over.

Nice turnout. I am not good at estimating crowds but maybe 3-4 thousand?

Nobody seems to be talking about it; I thought it went well. Good plays on both sides of the ball. Upshaw could be a decent #2 this year if Gillins can’t get healthy ( assuming they want to redshirt Brown, who at 18 looks huge and fluid running the ball). Defense seemed more physical and cocky than in the past. Livingston is massive and looks like he could still gain another 30 pounds.

A lot to be excited about in the fall.

Good crowd for such a windy/chilly day, the halftime show was fun, (not sure which high school they came from),

but more importantly the defense (the d-line mainly) is playing much more aggressively. Offense looked about the same.

ImageMany recruits about.

Looks like some of the crowd shots at games in November

3-4k is an accurate guess.
I also enjoyed the halftime band. So did some of the players.

Game was good, I thought not as well attended as last year's....but weather considering not a bad crowd. Hard to gauge where either unit is at due to the number of players sitting out with injuries. Getting everyone healthy before fall camp and staying healthy through fall camp will be a key to this season. As per Jason B's prognosis on each group I think we are going to be as good across the board as we have been in several years, minus at WR, and if we're healthy this can translate into 6 wins, which would be a head coach's best start since the DP era.

It was partly sunny and 50s. I wouldn't exactly call that bad weather unless you're trying to wear a sun dress.

Game was good but we're gonna miss Quinn and Sutton...alot

Talk about depressing, A$M had 48,000 at Spring Game! How can we ever compete?

Let's see:
1. They have a much larger enrollment and alum base than we do and;
2. What else is there to do in Bryan/College Station?
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
