My money is on Quinn playing.
Don't know who he listened to... but should have stayed one more year.

I wish Quinn the best and hope he has a short contract and can really sting 'em when resigned. Can't go quite as far as saying I hope Washington beats teams with an SMU or Dallas connection, i.e., KC or the Cowboys but its closer than ever with the latter given JJ's shenanigans and never thought I'd say that.

I agree...I will be very surprised if Trey Quinn doesn't have a very successful NFL career. Wish he would have stayed an extra year at SMU, though, and gotten the big 1st Round payday!!

He will be successful in the NFL, but this draft showed that slot receivers and safeties are not valued. He would never be a 1st round pick, even if he was the top slot in the draft.

The Washington Post has another in-depth story on Quinn.

Doug Williams said head coach Jay Gruden wanted the team to drafted Quinn earlier.

Chris Cooley on his radio show talked about how excited he was that the Skins drafted Quinn. His only negative was that the Patriots didn’t draft him.

I think Quinn will do well, but I don't think you usually hear anyone getting excited about a final round pick, especially the last guy taken.

That's a hell of a contract for the last pick in the draft. Obviously sticking around.
