Stay at the team hotel or stay near campus? Any recommendations?

We’re not staying at team hotel. Only Sat is available and it’s like 8 miles from campus.
Trying to decide between the group tix or getting better seats thru StubHub. Will definitely be at the tailgate. Super excited to be going!!

You can get into the team hotel on Friday as well, just not through Anthony. I don't know why they aren't selling them directly.
Tickets - IMHO, it is much more fun to sit with the rest of the SMU people than worry about better seats...

They did for basketball. But basketball draws more fans than our football does.

Historically I feel like Big 10 teams never really overpower OOC teams because their style is slow and boring (besides Ohio St). Last year Michigan was up only 17-14 against a bad Cincy team at home with 3 min left in the 3rd quarter. They went on to win 36-14. We will probably be winning 10-7 going into the 4th quarter and lose 45-10.

Bought mine. Hubs wants to check for better seats as we get closer, but I agree with JasonB. Sitting with your own fans is more fun when you have a rooting interest. We'll see.
We're staying at a VRBO closer to campus.
