So what’s on the Boulevard tailgate menu?

Postby ponyboy » Mon Aug 06, 2018 10:00 am

First home game is a month from tomorrow.

For me, I’m going the growler route this year with several beer selections. Thinking about grilling some bacon-wrapped dove or chicken jalapeño poppers, ceviche, jicama slaw, and mango ice cream.

Mmmm, chicken jalapeño poppers! Growlers are great, even better are crowlers (can/growlers). Craft Beer Cellar in Lakewood usually does free crowlers on Friday, all you do is buy the beer. Crowlers makes it an easier/lighter clean up.

I know sometime early in the season I’ll be doing my grilled buffalo wings.

Something cool to eat, and drink. Since to food truck addition I have not been cooking so much. Did do grilled Frog legs and had the Dalton family as guests that game. Dad smiled and said - great legs.... kind of feel like a cannibal... LOL.

Really nice family. I am hoping for a good game to show improvement.

Bus, isn't cooking kind of half the point? You're not going soft on us, are you? Ha

VERY excited about coaching change. Very excited that SMU was proactive and had Dykes signed up in SUPER FAST time.

When the food trucks started, I got my week back. I used to start on Wednesday and finish cleaning up on Sunday. I/we still bring some food but not the full production that we used to.

AND, I am a little older and this is more enjoyable.
