Wide Recievers

Postby leopold » Mon Aug 06, 2018 10:46 am

Does anybody have any insight into how the receivers are looking? We lost possibly the best 1-2 punch in the country at that position so obviously things are going to change, but with Proche and the GT's we could be loaded. My guess is that we will use our stable of RB's to give them time to gel being as that our OC has more of a running background as opposed to the air raid.

Does anybody know how the TCU transfer is doing? He, to me, is the biggest question as far as what he brings to the table. Is he a deep threat, a possession receiver, what? I'd be curious to know.

Reporters are raving about Reggie Robinson, sophomore transfer from WVU. We should have some good short route receivers Proche, Page, Becker, et.al. and out of backfield as well, West, Jones . Outside receivers are short except for Bell, so speed and accuracy are imperative on the deep ball.

With the transfers, I think SMU has a pretty good group of receivers.
