Mustangs at # 98 too high or too low?

Too low. We lost the best wideout duo in the country but we replaced them with solid contributors and uprgraded most other areas thanks to SDs recruiting. While our record will not improve due to the more difficult schedule our team should be better thanks to the holes SD was able to fill with jucos and transfers.

Sonny has been busier than a one arm paper hanger...filling holes left by "Friendly Freddie"

98 would probably be accurate if Hogman was still our coach, but we will be much better than that in my opinion.

Low 80s with our team improving throughout the season (barring any calamities). Also, we have a much better coaching staff in place. I’m oddly optimistic.

We're still #100 but at least he changed the culture so we can look upon this ranking with gratitude and enthusiasm. One swing a day.

Any ranking of SMU is a shot in the dark. So many intangibles. I think we’ll perform much better, but who knows

Well said. I’m more optimistic than if Chad was still the HC for several reasons - but at the same time wouldn’t be surprised if we had a losing season.
