We have Houston as a conference mate. No need to play Rice.

I’d like to play any former SWC team, including Rice. Yes, lots of great history there.

Reported attendance for James Madision was over 22K......last time a home game against Rice drew that many was for the first game back from the death penalty in 1989. The 2011 game against Rice supposedly had 14K in attendance.

We would have to play there - how is that beneficial. Not to mention their AD and President [deleted] on us as we left CUSA

FWIW, they've changed AD (and maybe President) since then.

Since you're playing that card, reported attendance for Rice in 2011 was 23,326

Wonder if that's not actual tickets punched on that pdf. Wiki for both teams says 23K

Rice would be at the bottom of the list if we're wanting to add SWC teams back on the schedule.

My number came from the media guide which is probably more trustworthy than Wiki.

Yeah you could knock about 4-5K off that and get the real attendance. Very cold and windy that day.
