I think if they let in teams with 2 losses over an undefeated UCF then you will see alot of people tuning out of college playoffs except for those school's direct fans. I've seen numerous non-UCF or even AAC people comment that they want UCF vs Alabama. I think because people want to a cinderella team make it against the titan. It would behoove the CFP committee to offer that guarantee rating booster to continually declining rating performance.

Meanwhile, I'm hoping Bama, Clemson and UCF win out and everyone else suffers a couple of losses (including Notre Dame). Would love to see 1st round game of # 1 seed Bama vs # 4 seed UCF. # 2 Clemson can play Big 10/Big XII champ for the right to play the "defending national champ".

I just want to see whether UCF's beating Auburn was a fluke. I would expect Bama to pummel them just as they have everyone else this year, but I just want to see more "pressure" on the system/committee. Longer term, I want to see an 8 team playoff with all P5 champions in and for the G5 to have a representative, even if they would be the # 8 seed and probably "one and done". I know there are P5 conference champs that certainly would like an opportunity. Eight teams would mean 2 wildcards which would help offset any controversial conference champs (remember that Bama would have been a wildcard last year)
