Speaking of Cavan - guess who was recently named the Cleveland Browns director of college scouting?

Posted: Wed Sep 19, 2018 2:54 pmRealize a couple of things. First their program had reached a level pretty similar to ours at the end of June’s time. Many fans are griping but those in the respectable media and in power are saying what is happening was not unexpected.
And second, Broyles is dead and Chad was hired by a new AD. I am sure the leash will be long in that a new AD is not going to readily admit a mistake on his first hire.
Chad may not make it (I still think he will) but he will be given every opportunity to make it as long as they can tolerate.

Yes I would think the Green Bay Packer OC job is a better gig and more rewarding job than the SMU Head Coach job....i guess it all depends....might be better working with kids vs spoiled NFL guys....but crowd wise it would have to be better than SMU. I love Tom Rossley...great guy.
