Last time we had a home game this late in the season with that many in attendance? Hopefully we’ll get over 20K to actually come inside Ford.

Only once since the breakup of the SWC have we topped 25k in a mid-October (or later) game at home.

Nov. 24th, 2000 vs #13 TCU in the initial season at Ford we had 26,551 in our final game of the year. I think LT ran all over us that day - LT 62 SMU 7

Last time we had over 27k was a quarter of a century ago - when we hosted Texas A&M at the Cotton Bowl in 1992.

What was the attendance at that bowl game vs Army ?
that was game played at home after October

Armed Forces bowl attendance was 36,742, a Ford Stadium record.

2016 at home against #11 Houston was in October and attendance was 32K.

I'm guessing 22K for Cinci

If they're not handing out the ED bobbleheads until the 4th qtr, will there be 10K fans left to collect all of them?
BTW, I love waiting to hand them out and making sure people actually stick around for the game. Although telling people to get to the game early to get them (as the current advertising states) might upset a few folks. Oh well.

Correct - played at Ford - but technically a neutral site game. Tickets sold by AF Bowl, not SMU. (And they did a damn good job filling that stadium).

Still can't believe that we lost that game. I think we doubled their offensive production (they had 30 yards passing to our over 300), we had more 1st downs, etc - but the turnovers ended up costing us the game.

Announced attendance will be near 20,000 but actual will be closer to 16,000. Cincy will contribute a couple of hundred

Nice interview on the Musers this morning with ED. Bobblehead and game mentioned numerous times. ED said SMU was like marriage. He will always love the school but disagreements happen frequently. He'll be at Ford Saturday.

Actual - 13,650
It's shaping up to be perfect weather on Saturday. Sunny and predicted high in upper 70s, nearly 80.

12,000 at kickoff
15,000 2nd quarter

10,000 after half
7,500 by 4th quarter

Many will complain it’s too “hot”.

Attendance predictions are the same no matter how good the game is/what the score is.
