I find Patterson's comments odd. Its my track record to suspend them...Why was he not suspended after the New Mexico incidents? Did the team not know?

Not ever an acceptable crime but with today’s climate plus what is going on with NFL players in regard to domestic abuse, he may be in Ray Rice territory.

As I recall, GP's track record is to internally invesigate after a credible outside report is made, never release results of the investigation and assert that there is no problems internally in his program. A similar strategy seems to have followed the New Mexico charges. Sad, I think he owes the victims an apology for not stepping in with consequences for a player who clearly needed both consequences and help.

Not following up with a player, who then skips a court appearance but continues playing should be looked upon like continuing to play a grade-ineligible player by NCAA.

I agree. Missing court date should be an automatic suspension.

The TCU football culture certainly didn't help.

Devonte Fields, Trevone Boykin, and now Turpin...violence against women seems to be part and parcel of the TCU football culture.

Yeah. They said they knew he had an issue but did not know it involved domestic violence. Would have thought they might have asked.

Pretty easy to cut a senior now with the season going nowhere.

Would probably only get one game if they were 6-1.

Should have to forfeit all games he played in this year. Only fair thing to do.
