I am going to count them.

Nine so far!

Obviously the legend grew in the bowl game, but it is definitely trending the wrong way lately.

Amazingly, Saturday was his first at Ford!

26 Nov at Navy - 13:03 3rd

2017

16 Sep at TCU - 7:43 4th
20 Dec vs La Tech - 6:50 1st
20 Dec vs La Tech - 11:30 2nd

He also had a fumble against TCU taken back for six this year, if memory serves me well.

• Tied with Garrett Gilbert for the school lead with nine games in which he has thrown for at least 300 yards
• First in combined touchdowns (running and passing) with 66
• Second in career completions with 616, trailing only Hinson's 642

Chuck Hixon played when 10 games was a regular season and freshmen didn't play varsity ball.

(He also threw a lot of short passes and had Jerry LeVias as a receiver.)

Today's faster paced games and pass oriented spread offenses have obviously helped Hicks put up the numbers he has, but whether you like him or not, he's accomplished what he has in the same 3 years that others throughout our history have had. If he does come back for a senior season and continues starting, he's going to shatter every record in the book...and I doubt anyone would dispute he has probably thrown more pick sixes than anyone in our history. That's just not one of those records you like to keep track of.
