I was going to post the same article. You win.

Anyone surprised that nationally-ranked UH buses to Dallas?

Team buses are a lot more comfortable than airplanes, especially when you weight 300 pounds. Plus you avoid all the lineups at the airport.

On the positive side, the Coogs received complimentary drinks and Buccee nuggets in Madisonville.
Clean bathrooms for the whole team as well!

What did the DMN say? I saw that it was the leading score in the front page scoreboard.

Pretty cool analysis on SMUs successful defensive scheme:

Basically SMU was smart to change the defensive scheme and UH was too dumb to correctly adjust.
Also fine offensive execution on SMU’s part.

I hope we are compiling a list of new defensive coordinators for when Kane is hired away.

Huh.

Forgot we beat Houston for Hicks. He was worth it tonight.

Unless it’s a top team, I don’t see Kane leaving unless for HC job. While Cal is still paying for Sonny, we just be upping Kane’s contract to keep him locked in. We need to reward merit here.

It's not just the coach. Our transfer LB's turned our biggest weakness into our biggest strength.

And it's not just that. D-line and DB transfers added experience and depth so virtually everything about the D is improved

Of course better players give you a better team but if you read the article, it was the scheme that confused Houston and put them into a run mode and out of their normal pass offense. That is coaching.

UCONN has the same type of QB as King--he is about 75% of their offense in running/passing production. He's looked good in bits and pieces I've seen but they don't have much else

He can't possibly be as overrated as King though.
