First Place Ponies

Postby Topper » Sat Nov 10, 2018 11:14 pm

With Houston's loss to Temple we are tied with the Cougs and Tulane for first place in the AAC West and we own the tiebreaker. Let's enjoy the week.

I wonder if Memphis beats us and Houston and Tulane each get another loss; I wonder how that tie breaker works.

Memphis is in the same spot as us. Win out and win the division.

If Memphis beats us and Houston and Houston beats Tulane, it is a 4 way tie I think if we beat Tulsa and Tulane beats Navy. Then we may win on best division record?

To heck to the tie breakers. Let’s just win out and eliminate the what ifs. I’ll be flying in from Atlanta this Friday to watch us become bowl eligible.

Where would you like to sit? I’ll save you a seat. Already heard from 3 HP families with kids participating that will not make our game. So, 10 less than 11,000 = fugly.

Much appreciated. We already purchased our tickets to support the school. We’re on the SMU side and will cheer for our guys. I hope you can find a good home for those tickets.

Yes it will be amazing. It will be even more amazing since I’ll be sitting with my wife who went to Fordham and I get to point out our mascot who’s predecessor killed the Fordham mascot. I just learned about this a year ago. Best trivia information ever.

Ah yes. Peruna is one of two mascots to kill another. I know I read that somewhere.

Who is the other one? I thought Peruna was the only one that could make that claim?
