Normally I’m not but I’m with ECM on this. We should be grateful that we get Friday when there are G5 teams playing on a Tuesday. That my friends is sad. Friday night is much better than Thursday since you don’t have to worry about work the next day (at least for most )

We've actually had a couple of decent Friday Nite crowds but the weather is a killer-for some. Personally, I prefer Friday Nite to Saturday Nite but I understand the conflict with High school playoffs is a problem. Kinda like having Saturday off

almost 31,000 for TCU in 2016--but I think there was another decent crowd which was bigger than I expected. Oh almost 35,000 for Texas Tech in 2012 but that TCU crowd was probably the best ratio of SMU to TCU fans in a generation at SMU probably because TCU fans didn't want to fight cross-Metroplex traffic

Weather Underground now has game time temperature at 56 dropping to 52 during game. Wind only at about 4-5 mph so not much wind chill. 65 dropping to 61 for pregame activities. Come on that's nuthin'-certainly weather isn't a valid excuse if that prediction holds
