If true, just another reason we need to play big name teams and keep building.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

I would love to sailgate at Washington

We do have some big games in the works (well, not as big as Michigan but few are)

We need to play USC or UCLA out there. Would be a great trip and we have a lot of students from Southern California

Any hints you can share? Or maybe the years of these games?

Glad we at least got paid for the game. It may of costs us a bowl bid as well as another home game. Hope it was worth it for the school.

I've heard we've had some talks with Georgia Tech but that was a couple years ago. Not sure if there's anything to it.

I agree we should take at least one $$$ game a year at a great destination. Its good for our fans and gives the kids an opportunity to play in a big setting. I had several Michigan fans tell me that we brought more fans to Ann Arbor than Northwestern, Indiana, Illinois, etc.
Back off Warchild seriously.

In the mid-60s we played a number of money games including Ohio State and Illinois. Yes, the money helped alot, but the national attention was also great and gave alums in those areas a reason to attend and reconnect. We were also highly competitive.

The Michigan game was a great experience. Me and my friend who went had a blast, and we ran into a lot of SMU people while we were out and about.
I'm all for one-off big time opponents.

Then sacrifice the TCU game until we are good enough to play two P5 non-conference games.
