If he loses that, UT doesn’t come calling.

Bet we've got more "nearlies" than any other team.

Voice is irritating. Sounds like Pete Rose's sister. (Not his fault)

agree that Mack was a little bit 'folksy' but I can take that better than the spiel our former used car salesman used to spit out.

One of my former pastors was a UNC player waaay back. He thought the world of Mac Brown and thought it was horrible when UNC let him go. I'm sure he's tickled to death Mac is back in Tar Heel land.

Mac.

Don't remember UNC firing Mack. Thought UT hired him after he took UNC into Top 10 national relevance.

Have an in law who is both from N.Carolina and a UNC alum. He said Brown had the reputation of never being able to win the big one while coaching in Chapel Hill. Never heard another derogatory comment about MB after UT won the NC.

I've always wondered in regards to Fedora whether the loss of Gene Chizik as Defensive Coordinator sealed his fate. Chizik had his ups and downs as a HC but he has always been an elite level coordinator. Things fell apart rapidly after Chizik resigned.

I predict success for MB's second stint at UNC. His recruiting connections and history etc. I never remember UNC as being anything other than god awful before he took that job the first time.
