High risk decision especially if he is about to graduate. Let hope he doesn’t get hurt next year.

Good chance he will hold several career marks before he's finished here at SMU

And if he gets hurt all you will say is well that sucks for him. Meanwhile he may miss out on major money by being hurt going into the NFL. Then if he has a worse year next than this you will be saying that you wish he had a better year while his draft stock drops. You are being are selfish in wanting him to stay.

He has met with coaches and advisers and listened to their advice and made an educated decision to stay for his own benefit. Wishing otherwise is going against his desire.

I don’t know if you are talking to me but I am wanting what is best from the young man one way or the other. Coaches want to win and try to influence players to stay like tHCCM did with Jordan Wyatt. Does he have an insurance policy (most of them are difficult to collect on )? Has he had an NFL evaluation? I don’t think they do the evaluations until mid December anyway. I know young men’s desires can be influenced by people they trust that just want to win so don’t come at me with that crap. Just hope he stays healthy, gets his degree, and has a better year next year than this year and not be a Matt Barkley.

I thought he was gone for sure. Glad to have #3 coming back.
