... and that is a big compliment. Thanks to Coach for coming to the Cheer and Pom Sendoff to see the squads off to Daytona for NCA/NDA Nationals. Thanks also to WBB and everyone else who came to give their support! This year Pom is competing in Team Performance which combines jazz, hip hop, and pom into one routine, and Cheer and Pom are competing together along with the mascot and a couple of band members in the Game Day division. Prelims are Thursday and Finals are Friday! Go Stangs!

Day 1 is in the books and we are in 1st place by a lot. Michigan is 2nd, North Carolina State 3rd. Finals tomorrow.

So, we lost to Michigan by nine one hundredths of a point. Kind of a heart breaker. Still, we proved that a tiny little school like SMU can go up against the big boys. And some Clemson (4th place) parents thought we were robbed. Bittersweet way to end being a dance mom.
