Per Sagarin:
Football #104 (5-7)
Mens basketball #94 (15-17)

You like where we are?!

It’s unfortunate that the majority of SMU alums just don’t care about athletics at SMU.

Probably a majority of alums at Alabama just don't care about Tide athletics :!:

2021 final ranking: #125 [7th out of AAC schools]

(special thanks to M golf, W rowing for big points and also M soccer)

When our stated goal is to compete for conference championships, I would say finishing 7th in The American has to be considered a major disappointment.

Hart appears to be more interested in The Masters than our spring game which probably shouldn't be a surprise. He's got a front row seat on the gravy train.

The overall decline in the rankings should be a concern. Concerned?

When we were regularly top 40 despite pitiful football and basketball teams and have plumetted outside the top 100, it doesn't speak well of the AD.

In 2000-01, men's golf (15th place - 69 points); men's tennis (3rd place - 75 points); and women's track and field (13th place - 71 points) led the spring sports. Now it's M golf, W rowing and M soccer.

Tennis has had significant investments in the last 20 years but no points?

Women's T&F has some standouts but Chelsea Francis was better last year. More XC and distance focused. Only 30 on the total T&F/XC team which lags other in-state competitors.

Did we get a participation ribbon?
