SMU defensive ends coach Randall Joyner visited with PonyFans.com after the Mustangs' spring game to discuss his evolution as a coach, how the defensive ends/line looked in spring, and which Mustang reminds him a little of himself from his playing days on the Hilltop


SMU safeties coach Trey Haverty visited with PonyFans.com to discuss the back end of the secondary, replacing Elijah McQueen and Mikial Onu, the development of Treveon Johnson and the transition for Trevor Denbow from linebacker to safety.

Pretty excited about Treveon Jones at safety. Tall guy, good speed, should be good on deep passes over the middle... if he can hit, he might be damn good -- let's hope.

That man's enthusiasm and love of SMU is amazing.
