As NFL teams navigate OTAs and mini-camps, many coaches now hold daily media sessions. The Redskins' head coach was asked about the uncertainty of the team's wide receivers, and after offering standard coachspeak about how "we have a lot of interesting guys" (or something similar) at the position, he specifically addressed Trey Quinn:

"Trey Quinn has taken over the inside slot role. He's confident, he's quick, he's got strong hands, he's physical, he's tough"

... and then went back to talking about other receivers. But considering the team has little in the way of proven veterans at the position other than Paul Richardson, it's not a bad endorsement from the coach as the team starts to shake out the candidates to make the team.
