IMO not good when a coach leaves for an equal or lesser school unless it was suggested he look at other opportunities. Hope we can get a good replacement quickly.

Sounds like a coaching friendship was behind the move

Not sure how many "good" replacements are available in the middle of July.

He’s going to work for his best friend and get a promotion

I'm confident Rendell Joyner could be a solid replacement.

If he would rather be somewhere else then [deleted] go.

I am sure Sonny will find a good replacement.

He liked the idea of being Special Teams Coordinator. He gets a promotion in title and gets to work for his previous head coach. I don't see any issues with the move. Let's just get a solid replacement.

Put Randell in charge as an interim for this season . If he handles it make him the permanent replacement.
If not , there will be plenty of options after the season is over.

How big a factor was Diersen in recruiting? Looks like he was in on Karl Taylor but otherwise, Lashlee, Ricker & Joyner appear to be behind most of our commits.

That sucks. Good guy and a good coach, with the mentality you want from someone coaching the interior of the line.

Really late for a move, which sucks also.

Luckily, I think there are plenty of folks who will want to work for Kane.

Our former STC was a holdover through all of our coaching turnover. He interviewed twice for the HC position and obviously didn't get it. Coach Carey wanted to move him off the field, and he felt slighted about everything and left to join Coach Rhule at Baylor.

Really bad timing. Other than that I wish him good luck.
