I take exception to not being mentioned in the top 10.

Need more of our guys to become impact players to make that list, but we have to be close with at least putting guys on NFL rosters. Too early to call on Sutton and Quinn and they would probably give LSU credit for the latter, given the P5 bias

Should have been near the top of the list for RBs.

If you just look at stats, we are in top 5 (I think) of players on playoff rosters (or conference championship rosters) last year. We're definitely in top 10 in hall of famers I think. We don't do enough to promote that. Stay in TX (Dallas), get great education/network and if you're NFL caliber, don't worry, we know how to get you into the league. Plus you'll actually PLAY here.

Easy close.

Biggest problem we have, as always even going back to pony express days, is turnout. No recruit wants to see a sea of empty chairs. But I won't talk about that as that's the obvious issue and SMU suuuucks at promotion.

SMU and Marketing HUSTLE don't go together.

We should be the desired ticket on the weekend. Just no work or imagination. Or .... you fill in the blank.

And when they do come up with something good like the Eric Dickerson bobblehead they execute it in a way that actually encourages fans to leave a close game at the beginning of the fourth quarter.

Eastern Washington is at 17, probably because of the QBs we send them.

Very impressive company SMU is keeping at the top of that list.

So ESPN's list is all-time whereas the college football nerds are doing their list for current production? If so, it makes sense. We don't have a long history of amazing wide receivers other than some amazing ones along the way including Berry, LeVias, Tolbert, and now thanks to June Jones the current crop which has continued with Morris and now Dykes.

The last paragraph is one that all of us would have agreed with prior to this fall. The marketing for this year’s football team was very impressive. Hopefully it continues.
