Give it up, boys. Those days are sadly long gone. I actually find myself rooting for UT and A&M when they play big time games - the kind of games we will never have a chance to play again. I love my ponies but I have converted to just finding good interesting big time college football games to watch each week and just enjoy them.

I agree he probably had nothing to do with it and should be fired if he micromanages to that level. It is probably someone who wasn't even born during the SWC days and doesn't share the pain with those veterans. If you think a headline "SMU AD Fired for Color Choice of Parking Placards" would somehow benefit our program, seek help.

Good - It was meant to. BUT, where is the attention to detail. If all the other colors have been used go with anything other that vomit orange.

I'd also rule out anything purple.

That reminds me of the time I went to the ticket office at Ford to purchase some basketball tickets. Rang the bell, waited about a minute and a guy comes to the window wearing a yellow polo shirt and a maroon aTm cap. Nice! That's been a few years ago.

Any PonyFan who doesn't understand the hatred for anything Burned up Orange is too young to remember playing those A-holes. To put it into perspective for the younger generation, as a fan more advanced in years I would rather the parking passes be purple than orange.

I'm not really sure that "those A-Holes" are any different than the A-Holes wearing purple for the last 20 years. And I have been around for plenty of Texas-SMU games having attended in Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas on many occasions.

At least we have been playing TCU through the years. We might never play Texas again unless the NCAA pits us against each other in the post season

YES- hart should be fired. However this is just a minor issue compared with all of the major screwups he has done like the two reseats that drove many loyal alums away from supporting the bball program.
I think hart is safe until we get a new university president as our current one doesn't want to lose his lap boy.
